Florida man accused of shooting duck with bow and arrow.
They say that laughter is the best medicine, but for those who love animals and nature as much as you do- it must be an agonizing task to witness a fellow creature in distress.
In Edgewater, Florida last Sunday night, we watched with horror when police arrested Daniel Rieves after he shot a Muscovy duck with arrows without any good reason at all!
Turns out his intentions were malicious because on patrol they found him paddling away from the scene of crime carrying two bows and arrows which are illegal to carry around during hunting season.
Fortunately this story has ended well: The injured animal was released back into its natural habitat by conservationists before it succumbed due injuries inflicted upon them – thankfully there’s still some hope left for our wildlife friends.
