Florida man arrested after shooting himself while ‘playing cowboy’.
Matthew Noffsinger Jr. was arrested early Saturday morning after being treated for a gunshot wound at the local hospital where he said that he shot himself in the leg while “playing cowboy.”
In a bizarre twist, the sheriff’s office revealed that Noffsinger admitted to lying about how he was injured.
According to his story, deputies noticed it didn’t make sense when they saw an entrance wound and exit wound straight down his leg which is not consistent with what happened according to this strange account of him playing cowboy.
After admitting to deputies that he lied and said he accidentally shot himself in the leg, Noffsinger told them how it really happened.
He was playing cowboy with his .22 revolver when something went horribly wrong.
