The Fort Lauderdale man has become one of the most notorious criminals in Florida history.
The defendant, who is only 23 years old, was sentenced Thursday after being convicted by jury for three armed robberies with firearms as well as carjacking and brandishing weapons during commission of each crime.
He faced more than 92 years behind bars before his conviction on those charges which means it’ll take many decades until we see him back out on the streets again!
DeAndre Smith, 23, was sentenced by U.S. District Senior Judge James I. Cohn on July 2nd to a total of 1,105 months in prison following being convicted for all 8 federal charges against him and his sentence includes 5 years of supervised release after that concludes.
