Whether they’re real, fake, or exaggerated, they’re some of the funniest, wildest, and most disturbing “news” stories on the web, and nine times out of ten, you’ll be able to tell how crazy it is by the headline alone.
The Florida Man has become a caricature of the wild lifestyle that many Floridians have come to expect in their day-to-day lives. Some of the best headlines include: a*****t with an alligator, stealing ambulances, shooting at hurricanes, and even a man who broke into jail just to see his buddies.

1- Florida Man Wears A F*c# The Police Shirt To Court
A Florida man was angrily recording Florida state police who were shutting down a roadside party involving other Floridians. Upon leaving the property, one of the officers pulled him over for having an “obstructed license plate.” However, the man filmed the entire thing showed up in court with an obscene anti-police shirt and won the case! That’s good luck…
2- Florida Man Throws Alligator Through Wendy’s Drive-Thru Window
What started as a “s****d prank” (the perpetrator’s words) quickly turned into an a*****t charge when Joshua James of Jupiter, Florida, thought it would be funny to throw an alligator through a Wendy’s Drive-Thru window. Luckily no people (or animals) were harmed, but Mr. James did receive some jail time.
3- Florida Man Plans To “Shoot Down” Hurricane Irma
In late 2017, Hurricane Irma slammed into Florida and caused millions in damages. In the days leading up to the storm, though, an entire Facebook group was started to encourage Florida gun-owners to shoot the storm and send it back to the ocean. It got so bad that the Sherrif had to intervene and tell people that this was a bad idea.
4- Florida Man Steals Ambulance
Last summer, a 63-year-old man who was supposed to be on bed rest at the hospital decided that he had had enough… So, he left his bed and asked one of the EMS responders for a ride home in the ambulance. After they denied him, he did the next most logical thing- he stole the ambulance. He almost made it home too! Authorities were able to track the ambulance with the built-in GPS and charged Mr. Peacock with grand theft auto
